Assembly

Sew the beak onto the head and add eyes to either side (between Rnd7 and Rnd8)

Sew the neckline onto the top of the body with the flatter side of the body facing the front.

Sew wings either side of the body. Sew on legs to the front of the flamingo but not directly under so that it’s sitting. Attach toes to the end of the leg and sew up the toes close together to give it a webbed-foot look. Sew on the tail feathers onto the back of the flamingo.

The face

I recommend that you finish the face of the cat before you sew it up. For the eyes I used buttons but you can use felt, paint or needle felt a design. I then used thin cotton and embroidered whiskers just below the eyes. I used red and embroidered a nose in between the eyes.

Sew on black stripe as on the photo and sew ears either side of the head.

Assembly

1. Sew the head to the body so it looks a bit like a skittle.

2. Sew on bib to the front of the cat

3. Attach collar and join to the back of the neck

4. Sew on name tag on the front of the cat as in photo

5. Sew on medal at a slight angle so it leans towards the right paw

6. Sew on left arm so the paw is in the air like it’s about to give you a high five.

7. Attach right arm shoulder to the body then sew the paw on the medal.

8. Sew feet to either side of the medal

9. Sew on tail to the back.
